Third lid since new
"The lid looks great but this is the third lid I have had since purchasing the bin. First one tarnished, second one bent out of shape and latch kept sticking. Like the bin, I’m hoping this is the last lid I have to buy."

"Really pleased to be able to purchase and replace components on the bin, rather than having to replace the entire unit. The lid is a different colour to the rest of the bin (which we knew when we ordered it) - but not bothered by this as am pleased to have a working bin again (the hinge/opening mechanism broke. . . but it's pretty old and obvs in daily use)."

"The can has held up year with no problems but the only thing that breaks multiple tiles is the tiny plastic piece that the handle pivots on. They reuse to redesign the style. So, your minor issue will cost you over $50 because they force you to purchase an entire new top."
Would have liked an exact replacement part
"The lid was a replacement for the old bin's lid whose catch had broken. While it is great to be able to buy a part given how expensive the bin was in the first place, it was less great that we could not get the colour that matched our bin and even less great that these are not being made any more. So we got the stone colour and now have anxiety about our super-expensive Totem being obsolete. Note that the new ones are not as good as the originals and the parts are not compatible."
New bin lid
"The filter cover had gone missing from our old lid (about eight or nine years old) which was also starting to rust on the inside. All other parts were fine. Now it is all as good as new. Thank you"
