Trash can sizing is measured in litres (L) starting from around 4L for a kitchen compost caddy, up to 60L for our largest trash can.

A general household trash can is best-placed in a location that’s easy to access and close to where you do most of your food prep. The benefit of freestanding trash cans is that they are not limited by cabinetry that house them and are often easier to access.
