Poor finish on wooden mills
"I was happy with the overall shape and size of the salt and pepper mills when they arrived, but there was a serious problem, the finish of the wood. One was much rougher than the other, they were slightly different shades and neither seemed to have been sealed with varnish or wood oil. This meant that any wet or greasy hand marks stayed on the mills. I had to sand them down and purchase some wood oil to finish them. Look great now, but you shouldn't really be expected to finish off a product like this. . ."
I got different wood colours
"The salt and pepper mills are great. But I had to contact customer service because the mills wood was in two different colours. I had a replacement sent out and that didn't match the other two. Very strange! I have now sent the wooden ones back and got a refund! I've purchased a different salt and pepper mill set from you. Let's see if they are any better"

"Bought the salt and pepper mill - the latter was smooth and well finished but the salt mill was a different product altogether. This was very rough in the hand and with constant use I think you’d get splinters. Clearly this shouldn’t have passed the QA process and was poor for the money given the pepper mill’s finish."
